About TMP

TMP is a non-profit economic development program that operates in Uganda East Africa. Compassionate people with helpful hands and hearts lend tiny amounts of money -interest free- to qualified micro-business owners.  The loans make businesses more profitable.  The business owners repay the loans to our TMP revolving fund in Uganda, and that money is re-cycled to other qualified applicants.

We also conduct food and educational assistance services on a more limited scale than the micro-finance.  Recently our work in the Lake Victoria villages (north side in the Mukono District) focuses on in-kind loans to local farmers and home-steaders. This is a developing aspect of TMP services.

Mission Objectives:

  • Efficient way for Christians to help the poor through loans without creating dependence.
  • Alleviate poverty to answer family needs.
  • Minister mercy through the church with economic development and nutritional services especially since the 2009 food price increase crisis.
  • Equip impoverished Christians and churches for Gospel ministry.
  • Work with Presbyterians in Uganda since we understand their system of church organization and manner of faith and life.
